The Bambach Saddle Seat is the original saddle seat, registered by design and created in Australia. The seat has been used worldwide for over 30 years in offices, hospitals, dental surgeries – basically anywhere where people need to sit down!

The Bambach comes in 4 seat sizes, with or without a backrest. It offers many height options and variable seat tilt and backrest options along with ergonomic accessories to aid in the workplace.

What type of work will you be doing?
Medical or seated for short periods? Hospitals, Dentistry, Medical Imaging, Machine Operators. We recommend a seat with no back when seated for short periods.
Seated for more than 2 Hours? Office workers, or occupations that require sitting for long periods. We recommend a seat with a back rest.
Seat Size
Small: Recommended for children upto 13 years old, and women upto size 8.
Medium: Children 14 years and older, male adults with a slim build, female adults with an average build ( size 10 -14).
Narrow: Females 5'2" - 5'6" slim build, children with a alrger build. The Narrow seat is essentially the same size seat base as the medium. However, the sides are 'cut away' which allows the user to sit with their legs closer together. Often preferred by ladies.
Executive: Males over 5'7" - 34" waist and above (slender gentlemen may still prefer the medium) and females - size 14 plus. The executive seat is a larger version of the medium seat, with some extra room. A greater width & length allows for more comfort in the genital area ( for males). It is a more supportive seat for larger individuals.

Low (Short): Minimum seat height 465 mm - Max height 560 mm
Medium: Minimum seat height 485mm - Max height 615 mm
Standard (Medium): For persons between 590 mm and 780 mm
Drafting (Long): Minimum seat height 662 mm - Max height 910 mm
Castor Type
The type of flooring the bambach will be used on, determines the castor type. The guidelines below will give you a good indication to which castors you would need for your Bambach Saddle Chair.
Standard: For use on a Carpet
Soft: Hard surfaces, vinyl, wood, slate
Locking: Clip locks on the wheels
Load Braking: These castors lock in with body weight
Braking: Lock without weight
Chrome Hooded: For carpet use (Aesthetics)
Glides: These are flat and not wheels, The do not move.

Using your Bambach
The Bambach is a proven to help your posture when seated. Ease into using your Bambach, as muscles and ligaments take time to adjust to your new supported position. As a guide, for the first couple of days we recommend sitting on the Bambach for short intervals of time and slowly increase this time of a 2 week period.
